It’s almost October! Eeek! My favorite fall month! Do you know what one of my all time favorite fall/ Halloween activities is?Decorating.Sure, I love decorating for all seasons—I mean Christmas, obviously—but there’s something so comforting about decorating for fall. The cozy jewel-toned colors and sweet cinnamon scents are pure magic. I usually start decorating for fall on September 1st by breaking out my beloved glass pumpkins, then I decorate for Halloween starting October 1st, and come November I decorate for fall again. Yes, I decorate for fall twice. And yes, I have separate Halloween decor, because um, hello…Halloween! During the special month of October I break out all the creepy decor, adorning my house in frightful bursts of horror. You will find no smiling pumpkins or cartoon monsters here. Thank you very much. However, this year, time completely escaped me. It was already September 18th before I realized I still hadn't decorated for fall…for shame! It's all good though, I just decorated for Halloween a bit early. A couple extra weeks of black and gold everything, skulls and creepy (fake) stuffed crows never hurt anybody. Anyways, due to my love for Halloweenie, I decided some Halloween-inspired product was a definite must! That’s why tomorrow I will be launching a quirky & ghoulish mug & two new witch approved hand lettered prints! I hope these creepy goodies bring the perfect amount of haunted delight to your Halloween season!
Tell me, what's your favorite fall or Halloween decoration? I'd have to say mine is most definitely my hand-blown glass pumpkins! Hmm, but it's a close tie with my felted acorn, pumpkin, and skull garlands.
